Times your predictions were proved wrong

I was sure Rika Kihira was going to win last year's Worlds. If you'd told me she wouldn't even medal, I'd have thought you were out of your tree.

Same for me, after following her the whole 2018/2019 season I was convinced she had a great shot at winning 2019 Worlds, or medal at minimum.
For some reason, I thought Hanyu would win that worlds as well but he finished 2nd to Nathan Chen.

I didn't think that Duhamel/Radcliffe would work out. Their skating styles were polar opposite. She was athletic and he was so balletic. Meagan took a lot of ballet lessons, and it all worked out. I've never been so happy to be wrong about anything.

Same. And Eric became more athletic / sporty. He used to be all long lines, but he really grew into a great pair partner for her and pulled some very emotional programs out of her. I particularly loved their Adele Hometown Glory program, and think of them every time I hear it.

I thought Tsurskaya would win it all. I was in a bit of a denial over the change to Team Eteri's young ones taking over the field. I mean, I know Polina was Team Eteri but she was different. :)

And I thought Mao would overcome her knee injury and make it to Pyeongchang (where she would be glorious).
