I skip all the yacking that goes on before each race usually tuning in 15 min before post time. That gives me a good amount of time to watch some skaters. Then after the race, I ignore the trophy presentations (unless this year my 2 horses I own shares with MyRacehorse-Seismic Beauty or Straight No Chaser wins)and catch up with skating againAnyone else figuring out how to watch the BC and Skate Canada simultaneously?
Sovereignty drew well - post 6 - in the Classic and is deservedly installed as favorite.
He was withdrawn today. Too bad.
Translation please? Not sure which horses are SNC and SB...Not my day as an owner of SNC and SB. She stumbled coming out of the gate. J Hernandez her rider thinks she grabbed a quarter and didn’t perservere with her. SNC led with eventual winner Bentornato, but eventually tired.
Thanks! At least they made it to the race! My one experience with MyRacehorse was a bust. Tufnel ran a few times, IIRC, but wasn't cut out to be a racehorse. He's working towards a new career now.Sorry, Straight No Chaser and Seismic Beauty are the 2 I own microshares of through MyRacehorse.
In case you don’t receive updates. I owned T also, this was in my email from MRH today. Thanks! At least they made it to the race! My one experience with MyRacehorse was a bust. Tufnel ran a few times, IIRC, but wasn't cut out to be a racehorse. He's working towards a new career now.
Yes I saw that! I didn’t know you were one of my co-owners, LOL. I was happy to see this. I did the Claiborne 5K in support of Second Stride in September. In case you don’t receive updates. I owned T also, this was in my email from MRH today.
Tufnel ADOPTED!
He was 31 years old. I didn’t see him last week when I was there at Old Friends. He’d had some surgery and was not allowed any treats so I stayed away so that he would not be mad at not getting a banana from me.
I did see him in September and probably most other visits, especially the last few years. My mother and I had a private tour with Winstar about 10 yrs ago. They're good people and one of my best memories with my mom.Well, not current horse racing but I won an auction for a visit at the training facility at Winstar Farm and a private meet and greet with Tiznow. I love Tiznow and have met him several times and gotten to feed him peppermints. Surprisingly, he did not eat my hand along with the peppermints, but I guess he's mellowed. Anyway, I haven't seen him in several years and he's not getting any younger so... That farm sells one-on-one visits with various stallions and he was on the list but not any more. So... I didn't pay much more than the standard price and it was for charity so I'm good with it.
