I skip all the yacking that goes on before each race usually tuning in 15 min before post time. That gives me a good amount of time to watch some skaters. Then after the race, I ignore the trophy presentations (unless this year my 2 horses I own shares with MyRacehorse-Seismic Beauty or Straight No Chaser wins)and catch up with skating again
Not my day as an owner of SNC and SB. She stumbled coming out of the gate. J Hernandez her rider thinks she grabbed a quarter and didn’t perservere with her. SNC led with eventual winner Bentornato, but eventually tired.

Translation please? Not sure which horses are SNC and SB...
I'm bummed that Fierceness did not win the classic. I thought at one point Forever Young was leaning on him, almost pushing him, but probably not. His jock could not get him out of the trap he was in. Also bummed that Journalism had nothing.
Thanks! At least they made it to the race! My one experience with MyRacehorse was a bust. Tufnel ran a few times, IIRC, but wasn't cut out to be a racehorse. He's working towards a new career now.

In case you don’t receive updates. I owned T also, this was in my email from MRH today.

Tufnel ADOPTED!

We have some great news to share for our friend Tufnel- he's been adopted!
Tufnel is headed to Aiken, South Carolina - truly a beautiful home for any horse with its vibrant equestrian culture, but especially a retired racehorse as the All Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show is held their every year! His new mom is a Second Stride repeat adopter, so we know he's going to a great home, but she is also the voice of Pheobe for the Spanish-translation of the hit sitcom Friends!
We are so grateful for the team at Second Stride and their assistance in finding Tuf his new person and cannot wait to see what the future holds for this special son of Into Mischief. As always, if the adopter is willing to share, we will continue to provide periodic updates for the group to continue to follow his story. Our aftercare team will be headed to Second Stride at the end of the week and will pass along fresh content then, but we wanted to share this wonderful news as soon as we heard it!
Yes I saw that! I didn’t know you were one of my co-owners, LOL. I was happy to see this. I did the Claiborne 5K in support of Second Stride in September.
I heard yesterday that Touch Gold, winner of the Belmont Stakes some 18 years ago (and he beat Silver Charm, who was going for the triple crown), died.
So sad. He was 31 years old. I didn’t see him last week when I was there at Old Friends. He’d had some surgery and was not allowed any treats so I stayed away so that he would not be mad at not getting a banana from me. I did see him in September and probably most other visits, especially the last few years.
He was quite the land shark in the past. You had to be careful not to get too close to the fence and turn your back on him. But once I found out about his love of bananas, I brought him a banana every day and patiently fed them to him, one small piece at a time. In September he would see me coming up the hill and he would go over and meet me in the same spot every time.
I am not sure if there’s another horse older or if now Silver Charm is the oldest horse on the farm. I feel like he may be second oldest. He was looking very tired the other day —he has good days and not so good days— and I was whispering to him to just hold on a while longer. Little Silver Charm, a mini, died a few months ago and it would be excruciating to lose Silver Charm within the same year. The very last day I was there recently Silver Charm looked pretty good and happily accepted shredded carrots from me.
