I'm thrilled that Cheryl was able to bring LOTF to the U.S. but disappointed Dai and Kristi won't be part of the cast. But a 30 city tour is a huge commitment and Dai has other projects going on, and Kristi has two young daughters. It's understandable why they wouldn't be able to do this tour, but they will be missed.

Thanks to Minotsu san for this English translation of tweets reporting Dai-related info from HYOEN2017. A talk show involved famous actor Emiya Ichikawa (Princess Iwagana) and Tobe san, the scriprwriter. They both reported interesting facts from backstage.

Although traditional kabuki music for Okuni's dance was already set and edited, Dai was free to choose his own style - no surprised at all that he decided for hip-hop. :D

In addition, from men's words, it's clear they respect and admire Dai's commitment in this event. This makes me very happy!!

Lol about Emiya-san's comment about the loud applause when Dai-chan appeared on the ice obviously he has never been to an ice show! The hip-hop comment was funny too. Thanks for sharing Pattina!

Pattina, thank you so much for posting that video of the dress rehearsal! I really enjoyed watching it...makes me excited for the U.S. tour which I plan to attend. From the photos and comments I've seen, it looks like the first show was a huge success! :cheer:

Using on-line translator, tweets from fans are enthusiastic!! the general trend is that, although is "the same" show, LOTF2017 looks better than last year: Dai-chan looks more confident on stage and is great!!! :encore::encore::encore:

As far as I can understand, there are changes in numbers and I think something is quite new. We know from prior interviews that this time Dai has more room, being involved in group numbers, too.

But let's wait and hope for reports.

And I agree with you: Dai seemed so lost before leaving for the US and again, in the interview soon after his come-back, he seemed puzzled and not confident at all about his future. But little by little, challenge after challenge fire and passion returned to shine bright and fierce again in his eyes.

@Laura4, many thanks for video!! Dai's moves are as elegant and natural as on the ice, full of powerful impact and gentle grace.

At the end of curtain calls at Premiere, all cast was on the stage for a short interview and addressing the audience. Cheryl had wonderful words for Daisuke, stating that he had improved a lot (Kristie agreed!!) and she is very proud of him. Of course, Dai got embarrassed :D but he was really happy!! And the sweet expression on his face when he embraces Cheryl is to Dai for......
