Alexei Yagudin is nominated for TEFI Award as a TV-host. It is said in USA such an award is Emmy - for TV workers. Maybe Yagudin won't get anything, but being nominated is not bad too. 🙂

I know, that "going" doesn't mean much, but I was surprised, that he is so serious about a thing he does.

I missed before what had happened last year! I had no idea! Sorry to hear about this tragic event; tennis and figure skating are now just as dangerous as any sport! :judge: :plush: :soapbox: :violin: :wuzrobbed
 
Having followed Alexei since he was 15 or 16, just a baby skater, I find his thoughts about Denis so moving. I think he does a really good job of helping you see how special Denis must have been for them to form such a strong relationship despite what Alexei sees as his (Alexei's) own hardness as a person (he hasn't totally convinced me though that he is truly so hard!).

As for Alexei's skating school in Gorky Park, I didn't text about it, because it was hard to understand how often he worked with those children - Alexei wasn't the only coach. This free school on an outdoor rink has been working during last winter. It wasn't a school for the best skaters. Any children could join this project. I guess the managers of Gorky Park asked Alexei to do it - and he agreed.
Now Alexei says they want to open their own school. (maybe "we" means Yagudin and Totmianina) I didn't expect that. It seems Yagudin thinks, that a coach should spend much time with his students. It seemed Alexei wasn't ready to do it.
 
about developing of the Belorusian skating (after the European Championship 2019)

Y: If we speak about figure skating (including the Belorusian skating), I'd like to mention your header of the Skating Federation Yulia Komleva who is very ambitious. I know she did much to make this fest in Minsk come true. I know her goals in regards to developing of figure skating in the country. So you need only to enforce a bit, to be not cruel, but tough, to develop a pattern - and you'll have it. I'm sure Belarus has talented kids. We talked today... as far as I remember there are 32 or 34 ice arenas in your country - so you already have a foundation...

Though he hurries indeed. And... it seems this woman should love herself. When he hurries, he forgets to love herself. Or maybe she could be less healthy, more hateful - but she shouldn't just hurry.
It also would be better, if his speech was clearer. (when he is a host, his speech can be wonderful now - even though his normal voice was a whisper - yet in this case he needs versatility: it should be not just clear) It's great he tries.
It seems the next episode will be the last for Yagudin. It's a pity. Yet it is good, that he decided to participate. It seems it was useful for him.

Thank you so much for the link Rina, its great to see Yagudin branching out into other things. He seems to be in his element when he is presenting and acting.

The cosmetic makeup and dress suits him! Very pretty lol.

Yes, they were. It's OK. :) I guess he will have to leave the project after one more episode - it's a pity. From other points of view their marks and comments are OK.

They said he hurried. He hurries indeed. They said, that the first part of the video (preparing to the shooting) was much better than the main part, that it was wonderful, that they expected to see a masterpiece. Two men tried to be supportive.
