With terrible programs, lol. This season is so WTF so far.

I digress. Everybody has terrible rhythm dances, and a lot of these free dance, including Carmen are zzzzzz, I think they have 2 great programs, and wake me up from a deep sleep.

I think the past two years have been terrible rhythm dance themes and I can’t wait for something different.

And she was injured during practice, so I give them some credit

Anyways, how are you doing?

  • Lots of PBs in Tallinn.
  • Mirroring GP France, Bratti/Sommerville edge out Mrazeks.
  • Reverse of the oder in Dutch fight compared to last week. Verhaegh/Van Geffen won the head to head with Jakucs/Galli this week at NRW Trophy. J/G had a fall in the RD, but V/VG also won the FD
  • I had expected Tkachenko/Kiliakov to win NRW Trophy. Instead Matthaei/Liebers won, thanks to the RD.
  • Bosnian judge at NRW Trophy started over-scoring the Free Dances with Sassi/Morini...so when she reached Matthaei/Liebers, the scores looked like we were at Grand Prix Final.
  • Novices at NRW Trophy were graced by Yuri Balkov's wisdom.

I think they'll be fine at coc but also there's a possibility weird stuff may happen again idk idk

There's only two outcomes at this point... Either they, like FearGib and LopBri are clean and benefit from  skates from both LajLag & GuigFab or... They're they ones with the  skate and we come for you like :lynch:. Hopefully your powers are strong for the first option, lol.

look I can't be the only one to blame because I alone am not this powerful (also I may end up sleeping through coc because my pain levels have been high lately so truly I cannot control the outcome in my sleep...probably...)

I mean, if you want to blame Anthony's twizzles, I can understand that, but we've already seen the strength and reach of your powers this season. We'll not soon forget what you were able to accomplish for Torgy.

Allison Reed has just been granted Lithuanian citizenship at last. Congratulations to her and good luck to R/A for the coming Olympic season!

I'm gonna trust that Rettstatt makes sure a decent tech panel is assigned to CoC, lol.
It is
Marcin Kozubek (Poland). JGP Wuxi this season
Slavka Grincova (Slovakia). JGP Ljubljana, Budapest Trophy and Nepala Trophy this season
Rock LeMay (Canada). JGP Ostrava

Referee is Italian.
Judges: no judge for Georgia. The other 7 country with entries have the judge. + Kazakhstan (on site for Shaidorov) and Israel (with no entries on the whole event).

It’s obviously great news for both in the partnership, but I’m especially happy for Saulius — Allison is already an Olympian, at the end of the day, and it would have been particularly ironic if Lithuanian citizenship law had cost Saulius the opportunity to represent his country at the apex of the sport.

That's great news for Allison and Saulius.

On the subject of citizenship:
  • Australia: Three senior teams (maybe, Nette/Westwood haven't competed this season) but unclear if any of them have two partners with citizenship.
  • Finland: Do we know if Yuka Orihara is eligible/considering applying for Finnish citizenship? I know if would be a difficult choice for her since she'd have to give up her Japanese citizenship.
  • Georgia: Gleb Smolkin has said he isn't a citizen yet, but I don't think anyone's concerned. He's even been to Georgia.
  • Hungary: They're generous with passports so I assume Ignateva and Szemko are both citizens.
  • Ireland: Carolane Soucisse isn't a citizen, and there is no fast track for athletes.
  • Italy: Is Roethlisberger a citizen? Though if Italy get a second spot I expect it to go to Tali/Lafornara, and I think Noah Lafornara is.
  • South Korea: Ye Quan recently said that he expected to have his Korean passport by the end of the year.
  • Spain: Tim Dieck might not have a passport yet, but I'm sure he and everyone else on Team Spain will before the Olympics.
  • Sweden: Does Mila Ruud Reitan have a chance to get citizenship? I think I read that she and Majorov are doing more training in Sweden to help the process, but that might be on a 2030 timeline. They're improving rapidly and are one of the teams I see as on the bubble for the final spots.
  • USA: Christina Carreira and Vadym Kolesnik should both be able to apply for US citizenship in 2025.

No way to 2026, and very maybe to 2030. We have very strict rules and long process for citizenship and if they haven’t changed it recently no dual allowed for adults either.

Thanks. So it’s possible Kivioja & Pellnor could be the Ramanauskaite & Kizala / Tankova & Zilberberg / Shtork & Rand of this quad.

Although given the Swedish Olympic committee’s unwillingness to nominate athletes for qualified spots, probably not.

It’s a bit easier for Nordic citizens to get the Swedish citizenship than it is for others. I believe Mila Ruud Reitan is Norwegian.

Yes, the residency requirement is a big problem for Carolane and Shane. They've talked about how they considered living in Ireland and training via Zoom, but it wasn't going to work out.

Well, I'm not sure their current situation is working out all that great with the material Carol Lane's given them this season. Perhaps training via Zoom with a European coaching team in a closer time zone is something they should consider.
