The best electronics

I am looking into buying the new macbook pro M2. Has anyone bought this laptop? I saw some bad reviews on it so now I'm feeling a bit hesitant. I just want to use this laptop for video calls and light video editing.

Boy #2 bought the Pro M2 a couple of weeks ago. He uses it for college work and zoom meetings when classes begin. He like it so far, more than is 2018 MacBook Air. He doesn’t do photo or video editing though.
