LMAO! This nickname for Chalamet may very well rival the nickname Maureen Callahan has bestowed upon him - Timotheeeeey Chamalamadingdong - which is my sole contribution to this thread since I have watched none of these movies and my knowledge of this year's Oscars is limited to her scathing takedowns, mostly of Timotheeey, every so often on her podcast "The Nerve" (which I highly recommend for anyone interested in pop culture commentary & insight.

No surprises this year. Most predictions were correct. Pretty boring show.
Didn’t like the Memoriam part. Lot of time for a few select who passed away, and no time for the rest?

Why the rush to commercials?

It was even worse than usual.

I was happy with most of the wins. Disagreed on Best picture, but I did last year as well. Way too long and the skits weren’t funny.

they really double downed on that this year. TCM still the champion of the death roll call.
