It's not watching I have experience in, but training and coaching. Of course I don't believe they can only be beaten by a fix- like I just said above, if they fall on their faces or justifiably lose levels or forget how to use edges in step sequences then obviously they should be beaten (like they were beaten in the FD at Worlds. I have no issues with that whatsoever) I thought I was pretty clear in my post when I said it's my personal opinion that if both teams are 100% clean, V/M's skating is of a better quality and should therefore win. I don't personally root for the people over the skating.

If you consider my post as mean, I don't want to know what you think of other posts on this forum especially about Tessa and Scott. But luckily, I don't care about your opinion and honestly I don't want to spend the last days of Tessa and Scott's career arguing with PC fans. I prefer reading and posting about my favorite ice dancers who I consider to be the best ice dancers ever.

If P/C win it's because they deserve it, not because the judges have fixed it. If V/M win it's because they deserve it , not because they are entitled to it.
Four years ago I desperately wanted V/M to win but did not cry fix because D/W did. Other couples are allowed to be amazing & win too. It's the entitlement on here which is disturbing.
Do any of you enjoy watching other Ice Dance couples or do you just watch to wish other couples fail so V/M win ?.

Same here. That's the only good thing about them ending their career. Because there is no other couple that I'm so invested in that my heart is beating like it wants to jump out of my chest and my hands are shaking. My blood pressure is no fan of Tessa and Scott, that's for sure. :lol:

Coming from a Pasha fan that is kind of ironic don't you think? She thought she won her golds by herself. ;)

And the fix was definitely in for G&P. They stumbled in their CD, their OD was a hot mess compared to K&O and their FD was good but also did not have the same impact as K&O.

They won gold in 1998 because they were 4 time World Champs.

Me too! Honestly when I watch them live my heart is racing and I get all warm. That’s how nervous I am for them. I think I was sweating during the Team FD performance. LOL. And then that awful feeling as the scores come up. But I can’t imagine not watching it live...I also don’t know why I do this to myself.

I almost started crying.
And it even fits our previous discussion. One of the commentators said something along the lines of: "We will always remember how they made us feel." Yes, that is Brenda Irving of CBC and those were the words she used when they took the ice for their free in Sochi :)

Probably the best compilation clips video of v/m I've ever watched so far! Thank you for sharing this :)

For the years of comments accusing them of being two footed, fake chemistry or "just technical" skaters, this vid really certainly proved them wrong.

I also cried from watching this. After the two minute point till the end. (Only realized it was a 12min. long vid. Lol) I think it finally hit me just then that my daughter and I will not see them in the competition circuit again after this games. And for all the criticisms/opinions I have shared over these 2 seasons (though I've been a FSUniverse fan of v/m thread since 2009), I truly believe they embodied every thing of my ideal of what it means to be an ice dancer.

As the IE fast approaches, I will hold onto Scott's words (in my head and heart): "...if we skated better enough, then they can't deny you..." That's my hope and wish for them
 
I just found out that South Korea has a "Penis Park". LOL LOL. Makes me wonder even more why they felt they had to change the "suggestive" position in their FD lift to make it more "family friendly". Hahahahaha. Not re-hashing the lift thing. Just an observation.

So "Art on Ice" used a pic of Tessa and Scott to promote their show and I asked about them doing AOI this year. Unfortunately they won't. I guess the chance of seeing them this year is zero :(.

If you clutch those pearls any harder they'll crumble. Have you read the hateful dreck in the youtube comments under any Virtue/Moir video? That shit makes this thread look like mother's milk, seriously. Fans of all skaters and of all stripes get out of hand. People are still re-litigating Salt Lake City, ffs. Move on.

Put it this way..when the legendary goats Torvill & Dean skated NO one beat them for 4 years because no one was as good & no matter what other teams tried it failed cause they were not T&D!
That is how I feel about V&M..the are the true GOATS & IF they have a perfect skate..THEY SHOULD WIN!

Here it is broken down in in basics..

As long as V&M skate clean & to the best of their ability...THEY WIN
Why you ask? Cause they are simply the best..other teams can skate well but if V&M skate to the max they can..they will always be that much better!

Oh god so nervous for where they pick to skate in the final group..I know the draw is Saturday so I will be scared if they pick ahead of P&C cause if P&C get to skate last or AFTER V&M they will likely lead after the SD..hate this lol

If Tessa & Scott are first in the final flight then they won't get the marks imo..they will definitely mark them lower if they skate before P&C & save some marks for the French..just watch..

Gonna guess P&C have the luck of skating after them too..that is just how things have been going this season, P&C will probably skate last both nights..
 
Hasn't it always been a thing that V/M basically never draw last? I can barely remember a time when they did.

Last would be good, but I'm alright with just before P/C. The immediate comparison in the SD probably can't hurt (then again I said that about the GPF).

You don't see us going into P/C's thread complaining about their fans who are the worst I have ever seen in terms of fans of an ice dance team. Scroll onto any youtube video of V/M, the shibs, and H/D and see derogatory broken English paragraph comments thrown around by mean-spirited assholes while here you have pretty much the same thing except a little nicer which isn't saying much...It also worth noting that you have a mod who is vocal about their ubering towards P/C while making snide/ignorant remarks towards V/M in their own thread essentially abusing their power and being the total opposite of what a mod should be. Gabi even took to Instagram telling her own ubers to stop bullying other ice dance teams. And of course, none of them listened. so...what were you saying about us being the crazy and mean ones?
 
Let the bitter P/C ubers or people who just don't like V/M because their V/M swim in their own jealousy juices. GO V/M! We fans have full confidence in you!

They almost ran into V/M during practice at nationals too. skating wise I enjoy P/P's skating lots of versatility and amazing costumes. not sure personality wise.
