Tai doesn't have to use the idol next week; it's just the last time that he can.

Just like Ciera in 2nd chances. Being a target of other peoples' game does not equal "No one is playing!!!"I'm glad the troll doll finally got taken out. I hated his pity party that other people weren't playing the game just because they were no longer playing with him.
He knew his vote wouldn't count and was just being a dick, I guess. Why did he vote for Joe at tribal?
I have questions about this episode, and hopefully someone can explain. I watch the show for challenges, nature and geography, and don’t really follow the voting strategies, nor understand exactly how and why alliances are formed, and whatever ticks they play on each other instead of fishing and getting food or exploring the island. But I’ve watched long enough to get an idea. So what I don’t understand this time is:
- Why did Jason vote for Joe, when “Joe” was never discussed by Tai, and when at TC the two names on the chopping block were Michelle and Jason? Why would not Jason vote for Michelle? Did I miss a discussion between Tai and Jason about “Joe”?
- Why not take Jason to the final 3, since Jason is the most hated character in the group, and not likely to get any votes in the final?
Jason said that he didn't trust Tai; he had planned to vote for Joe and he was sticking to it, and he did, in spite of everything.

He was an easy boot. Why not get rid of him? And he probably would get some votes at the end, as not everyone on the jury hates him (Scott would surely vote for him and I could see Eric and Julia voting for him, too) and that's before he starts talking about his daughter.
Thanks.Nick?
Nick?
Tai annoyed me this episode. I really don't know why he thought that his vote-out-Michelle plan was going to have everyone on board when he didn't put much effort, thought, or convincing arguments towards actually swinging the vote. I wasn't really that sympathetic to his post-tribal reaction when it appears as though he never got the "okay, good plan" from anybody outside Aubry.
I've been viewing the last few episodes as though Aubry is going to win, but I'd rather have Cydney. I'm not a big fan of Aubry's "wahhh I lost my two closest allies," remember when Neil left how she was bitching that he didn't give her his idol?
Sad to see Joe go out the way he did. I give him a ton of credit for hanging in as well that he did for his age. It was super nice to see him win a challenge, andat how everyone had to just sit around while he moseyed back to get his final bag.
That's true, although there is a guy who blogs on Rob Cesternino's website who is pretty good at analyzing the edits and IIRC did end up picking Natalie as a winner that season, and relatively early on too. And even when he's wrong on his winner picks, he's good at figuring out who has longevity in the game and I find his take interesting to read.
