Stolbova and Klimov Thread

I don't see Fedor's hotness at all

Have you tried putting a sticky over his head and just stare at the body? :)

Fedora has kind of a nerdy haircut and just a pleasant face, but Overall i think he's rocking a very cute nerd look from the neck up. And have I mentioned his hot body? LOL

GOT Book fans know that Stolbova is really Asha Greyjoy (Theon´s :kickass: iroborn princess sister) and that her house motto is "We do not smile" :drama: :p

OMG nooooooo! I hate that house. :revenge: No, she is Melisandre. :respec:

His body is gorgeous. I could eat him in a bite. :shuffle::rollin:

It took me awhile to appreciate Fedor's hotness. Maxim Trankov's hotness hits you like a Mack truck, he's so striking-looking and intense...so next to him, Fedor just seemed quiet, shy, and average-looking to me for quite awhile. Then slowly it crept up and now I think he's pretty hot, too, just in a very subdued way.

Anyone know if he has a girlfriend? Does Ksenia have anyone?

I don't know about Fedor, but Ksenia is engaged with Soloviev.

Don't think they're together anymore, actually. They don't follow each other on instagram and they both took down all their couple pics. I am told it's what kids do these days when they break up :p.

Anyway, speaking of hotness, here is a new pic http://instagram.com/p/youchQREAU/?modal=true She tagged it #ForeverSmile, so I guess she has taken note of all the bitchface comments. ;)

Loved Kaitlyn Weaver saying that's her exhibition outfit. Although if this were a 'who wore it better' poll, I'd go with Ksenia  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXInPe8XgVc

Ah ok. I had no idea about it. Poor little children. :wuzrobbed

When did she said that?

She commented on the pic (you have to log into the phone app to see all comments).

I don't have instragam but that's funny. :D And I'm with you, I vote for Her Highness too. ;) No one can wear a man's shirt like a bitchface. :p

How did I manage to miss this post before?! Personality-wise, eys! But would that mean Fedor has to be Theon/Reek? :scream: I guess their former ward who keeps fawning over Asha, Tristan or whatever is a possibility but that would mean relegating him to such obscurity :drama:

I love the haircut.. SO masculine.. I cant do the sidepart on myself.. I have an oval shape.... Everything about him is delicious!

I like them but after Europeans it is safe to say they are fighting for silver at worlds.

I was so excited to see them slay this season :wuzrobbed is kind of sad to admit it, but I still have hopes they can get the gold (even if it looks hard against K/S and D/R).

Unfortunately after the GPF it has become clear that they cannot win against D&R technical content. I thought their quality of skating would suffice, and I still think D&R are overscored (no way they have better SS than these two, not even close) but that's the way it is. So, I just hope they have a great skate at worlds and hope for the best.

Agree. I like both couples & love the fight that D/R show.
But I find the beautiful transitions of S/K easier to watch.
But I think if D/R go clean especially with the side by side Lutz's & a throw quad it's going to be almost impossible to beat them.

Yep. So all S&K can do is skate great in both programs and hope others makes mistakes.
That's the only chance. But I think they know that by now and are prepared. Otherwise they would be risking with new elements that they have been trying for a while.

It's so frustrating because I can't help but think that Mozer's plans for this season were a terrible miscalculation. It's tough knowing that they land 3-3s in practice (which we have video evidence of in Ksenia's case) and practice quads, but they are losing due to a low base value. I can't believe how frustrating that must be for Ksenia and Fedor, knowing they can do harder elements (and I think I read they practiced 3lutz but maybe I'm wrong). And if not pushing the technical envelope, they could have at least pushed to do something more artistically and try for the PCS. The plan of just skating clean and being consistent seems to have backfired bigtime, and I even wonder if practicing their quad throws is now messing up the timing on their triples. But maybe Mozer knows best. Russian coaches are certainly the best at getting their skaters to peak at the Olympics, but it's sort of miserable waiting out the season for the results to come in a few years.

I don't know about the lutz. Velikova said that Fedor can do a lutz, but I'm not sure about Ksenia.
I think mid season is too risky to make changes. But I could see them trying new stuff in the summer & getting much stronger.
If they could push their technical mark up their beautiful edge work & transitions could see them overtake D/R.

They are, that's for sure. Ksenia and Fedor (Mozer as well) both said so in an interview, in mid-November, that they were training in 4S and 3+3, but they did not feel confident enough to bring them in competition so they aimed to raise their quality and be consistent this season. Now Mozer is talking about 2 quads for next season, but that maybe is too ambitious. :shuffle:

if they can do 2 quads consistently they might even challenge V/T.

I still have faith they can win worlds, in the end their fight is what's going to make them outlast their current competition long-term. Maybe not this year, but soon. I can't imagine them not being world champs at some point.

For me D/R are like a roller disco at Applebee's, it just doesn't work at all and you'd rather get it to go, but if they beat S/K this year at the very least they'll probably bring back the voids. They could have some of the coolest programs, but it seems every Russian skater has to have at least one season with the Morozov black mark and I'm hoping this is the one.

Don't tell me their programs this seasons were choreographed by Morozov?

He's not listed on their ISU bio, I could've sworn I read that earlier this year and chalked it up to why I'm meh on this years choreography. Its still his fault.
