Thanks for the prompt @Sylvia.

Kurt's clown number was very original, very clever, and well done. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Kurt at his best. Not so much the Gordon Lightfoot number. He's 52. He doesn't skate the way he did when he was young. Yeah, I know it's Kurt, but it's time for him to stop.

Interesting! See, I'm a younger skating fan and I don't have any connection to Kurt, but I have always loved good skating all around, particularly in the younger skaters of my generation. I thought the show was pretty decent, I've seen better, I've seen worse... Patrick was great .... but when Kurt did the Gordon Lightfoot number, I BAWLED. ....Like tears streaming down my face, and they just kept coming and coming. I was not anticipating that at all. Something about the way he respects edges and turns, and body control, and the absolute heart that he gives to that performance. I'll never forget it.

I guess I must have really missed out if that's Kurt at his lowest! I'm so happy I saw him.

Oh he wasn't dreadful, but yeah I've seen him live many times and his age is showing. Also I'm not a fan of all his music choices - eg loved Nyah, not so much My favourite things. Not that big a fan of that particular Lightfoot number so I guess that influenced my perception too. Anyway I'm glad you were so moved by it. Always a bonus when that happens.

Hopefully people are still interested in this. I finally got my Hamilton photos up. These feature photos from retakes as well as the regular show.

Taste can be so subjective. I definitely don't think that was Kurt at his lowest - I loved that number as well. Interestingly, he apparently found that number a bit challenging to do as Sandra Bezic wanted him to do it, so he would be gratified to know you appreciated it so much! =)
