Very, very, very sorry to hear about the death of Sylvain Guibord:

Had the pleasure of meeting Sylvain a few times in the early 2000s at events and he was always so nice and endearing.

My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. May he rest in peace. God speed, Sylvain

Very sad to read this news when I woke up this morning - I enjoyed meeting Sylvain a few times many years ago, although I certainly didn't know him as well as others here did.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Very sad, indeed. I was fortunate to meet him at nationals.

It's odd that Skate Canada took so long to post their press release; he passed away almost two weeks ago.

Wow that's unexpected ! I had met him while on a Québec trip back in the old days... Had seen then that he was very involved in the sport ! That 's sad :-(. My sympathies for his family and friends.
