I recall a conversation i had with an ISU judge when Roman was a small junior and he told me he was the Canadian with the most potential!

Loved the top 3 men - just my cup of tea - and Joseph & Jack and others too.

Shakier than his edited performance from a few months ago (obviously), but Roman's developing nicely overall. The first half was really good; the second half got away from him a bit.

So Ontario swept Women and Men Just saying. The top 5 I felt were exceptional. Patrick Chen on now talking about how he is enjoying the west coast. He has a moustache, I’m not a fan lol

So the in addition to agreeing with all the other words of praise for Roman, I'd say my nxt top impression was confidence and patience. His 3 jump combo was special - hand down on the landing of the first jump but took the time to gather himself and finish the combo perfectly.

Hannah Lim / Ye Quan - these 2 are so much fun - but I protest. He should have had cat's ears in his hair too. As it was it flapped around and distracted me lol

These two kept having free dance disasters last season, so this was a big step up.

Please keep this program for next year, this cannot be the only time we see it!

Lim/Quan are into the quirky program choices (this one, plus their Addams Family RD), and I am all on board! We really need a voidy junior team.

I had just been assuming they’d keep last year’s program. Similar tone to last year’s, at least in singer tone.

I believe next season is their last JGP eligibility, so I hope they keep this and focus on getting some medals.

Natalie D Alessandro / Bruce Waddell - I am always leery of ballet for a free skate but these 2 nailed it imho - really enjoyed it.

This is a prime example of a program where the female skater should have black boots.

Too bad about Natalie’s stumble at the end of the one-foot (risky to leave it that late in the program).

Natalie and Bruce skated very aggressively, and I loved their program. Natalie got a bit out of control in the steps though, and had a bit of a stumble. I'd really like to see this program again with more miles on it.

I’d probably have had Miku and Tyler ahead in the free, but overall I’d say the ordinals are right.
