I liked that a lot. They still look a little junior-y but it's early days as seniors. I just hope the Aussie federation has learned something from the Harley & Katya experience about how to meaningfully support pairs skaters.

I'm glad they're working with Jonathan Guerreiro now. He's Russian and Australian and youngish so hopefully it's a good mix for them. The Katya and Harley documentary didn't give me a lot of warm fuzzies for the Pachins.

She has the intensity to pull this off, they skate with such a confidence now, and it's dynamic skating with very precise pacing rather than skating through safe music.

Gosh, I love Deanna so much She was my favorite ladies skater when she was a junior, and I was heartbroken when she got injured and quit. My mind is still blown that she came back.

I’m 36 and I’m about to do yoga because my back is sore from sitting. She’s putting us all to shame.
