It's hard to know at this stage. I heard that Gabby has had surgery. Has she pulled out, or is she still planning to compete? Ordinarily I would like have said: Gabby, Ashley, Pogo. But after Pogo's disastrous outing at SC and now Gabby's reported surgery, I went with Ashley, Miyahara, and Karen. However, Polina Turskaya (if she's healthy and in good form) is also a possibility over Karen.

Ladies are so unpredictable it could just as easily turn out Miyahara, Sakamoto, Tennell.

This one is even more unpredictable than most. So much podium potential, so many potential pops, splats and URs. And rust.

She had abdominal surgery in the summer (near the end of SOI) to remove a cyst. She's fine now as far as we know, just behind in her training. No reason to expect her to pull out.

Oh that's good. Someone made reference in another thread to Gabby having surgery, without any explanation. They referenced it in a way that made it seem recent and like there was some kind of problem involved with her competing.

If Gabby has got things together better by SA than she did at her initial outing, then obviously she'll be in contention for the podium along with Ashley, Karen, and perhaps Miyahara if she's back to full competitive strength. I'm not sure about Pogorilaya and Turskaya, but obviously they are talented competitors too and can land on the podium if they compete well and others don't.

If the caller is strict, then Daleman, Tsurskaya and Wagner.

If the caller isn't strict, then Wagner, Daleman and Chen.

I expect Miyahara to have some jitters and Tennell and Sakamoto will be somewhat held down by PCS. I think it will be too difficult for Pogorilaya to recover from her recent bomb.
