I attended the first Scott Cares at BGSU. Next time I will buy the ticket in advance (lady at box office said they weren't selling the chair seats and I didn't want front row so I got a general admission ticket.). I saw the chair seats were mostly empty but since they were "reserved" the usher made me move even though 2 full rows of the 3 chair row seats were completely empty. Show lasted 1 hour. The box office people lied and said the chairs were ga when they were actually reserved -grr.
Scott Hamilton was the emcee. Alyssa Czisny was the the guest skater. She did two numbers- the first one actually included triples (that she landed on one foot). 2nd number only had 1 single jump (a pop) , and a lot of spins. Members of the Bowling Green Skate club also skated , the adult skate club skated to Smile. There was 1 novice ice dance team, and a few solo numbers. A couple of the solo skaters even did triples. I did enjoy the show. I wish my best friend could have gone with me but she's in a nursing home (her throat cancer came back (she never smoked either so something else caused it). I will see her tomorrow. She might be able to go home in a couple of weeks.
