Sasha Cohen on Ice Talk podcast/Facebook Live

^^ Thanks for posting the video version @Sylvia. It's an interesting interview with Sasha. I found the discussion of what Sasha wrote for Sports Illustrated fascinating, especially the part she related about learning how to be more vulnerable and less politiically correct in her public interactions.

Sasha, on what she misses most about skating:
"I miss the clarity of focus and purpose..." She enjoyed, 'bringing art and her personality to the sport's required technique...'

Sasha, on what she doesn't miss about skating:
"The repetition that's necessary, [because] it's always at the expense of something else..."

"Chance and luck are bigger factors than we like to admit [in figure skating]."

"Trying to stay focused and in the moment,"
is Sasha's best advice for calming competition nerves.

Sasha says she doesn't get to skate often anymore, but she truly enjoys when she gets to skate outdoors at Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center. She loves the energy and excitement of life in New York.
