Well, this is a new team. Vasilieva never worked for me as a single skater, same as a pair skater for now.
Ustimkina was just the bestz for him, perfect fit.

But decent debut, let's see what time will bring for them. Not sure this is enough for nationals in this line-up.
Great to see her happy though.

I know they decided to do seniors from now on, but P/R are still age eligible for Juniors. They can't make Nationals through the Russian Cup so they're either going to have to beg for a bye without a lot of senior results to show for it, or they can wipe out all the competition in juniors again and make sure to stay on the team through that.
