I've heard FIFA is moving games to Canada and Mexico because US fields construction is behind schedule and inferior construction.

Has anyone else heard that,?
 
I haven’t heard that but I have heard suggestions that the games should be moved because of the unstable political situation. However eleven host cities with this short time left would be impossible to replace. To besides we are dealing with FIFA…. JMVHO
 
With the situation in Venezuela, will countries boycott games in the USA to protest the attack on Venezuela...... commanded by the recent recipient of the FIFA peace prize.
 
There is also the issue of ticket prices. There have been numerous complaints of ticket prices being too high.
 
I have no respect for the FIPA organization's leaders..........may be a great game but the leadership is not great - the peace prize to Trump? I get that they are probably rationalizing this in terms of doing what is best for the game when hosted in the US, but gee how obviously an AK move that really detracts, IMHO, from their overall credibility.

The game we took grandson to, was exhibition in 2024 after Olympics and tickets were less than $50, center section, great seats. Like I said, it wasnt a real competition but did have some big stars playing. I'm sure the Mahomes' subsided some (Britney owns some part of the KC women's soccer team and it was in their (women's league) home stadium and likely the Hunt Family

I think but I lost track of fields to be played in, but I Arrowhead stadium (KC) was adding seating for games. I've seen club level ones $12,000 and higher.
