Problem with old iPhone and logging in

I have an older iPhone - I can't figure out what model it is, but it is definitely one of the older ones. I could log in to FSU, no problem. But since I got my iPad several years ago, I use the iPad. However, my iPad died on me while I was out of town so I tried to log in using my iPhone. The cookies access message covers up the window to enter your user name so I was unable to log in with the phone. Is there any way around this?

Edited to add I finally figured out how to identify my iPhone - it's a 3GS

Yeah, I'm afraid there's not much we can do here.

Thanks for checking! I'll probably be replacing either my iPad or my iPhone in the future so that will solve the problem.

I was finally able to log in with my iPhone by turning it sideways....
