After being stuck in the airport for 5 hours, I only watched the last two groups of junior men, and this is really brief.

What stood out to me, expression-wise, was:
  • Ryan William Azadpour, who skated to The Lion King. His steps were powerful and he used his whole body well.
  • Zachary LoPinto's FS expression, especially steps were powerful and impressive.
  • Ryedin Rudedenman: Previously, he was beautiful but seemed a bit delicate. His performance now has a solid core, and he uses his limbs to express himself strongly. I thought he might be the skater who has transformed a lot.

Have fun!

Alysa's skating her FS and confirmation it's Gaga not Donna Summer. Agree with Gracie Polina - relieved she's not waiting until the Olympics to debut it, lol.

ETA - much better music edit than the original program from the late summer.

Think that's Polina commentating the practice. Excited for the new long for Alysa. Friar tuck hair for Gaga is a choice though
Whoops - makes sense that it's Polina at Enterprise since Gracie's at Centene with Ben, lol.

The refreshed bleach job on only the top section is definitely a... strong look.

Gaga 2.0 is not good. Little ice coverage, second half really has nothing going on. Obviously it’s undertrained as it’s new, but this program doesn’t move outwards at all. She legit crawls through the steps.

In some ways I miss being young enough to still blithely ignore advice about not getting a bad blonde dye job.

Is this, like, a look the kids are doing these days? I don’t think I’ve seen this particular rings of bleach thing she has going on before.

Ok, back to my rocking chair now.

Exciting that it’s nationals week!

Is she practicing the 3A?

I just started watching and it's the Rinkside Cam: men's practice. I didn't see any commercials. Yay!

There have only been 15-30 second commercials when I first open up any particular event on Peacock, then, blissfully, commercial free for the remainder of the event. I don't expect that to be the case when we're subjected to the simulcast with whatever is on USA or NBC.

You're probably right. I have another problem at the moment and I don't know what happened!

I used the split screen in my Edge browser, and now whenever I type in the text area ( like right now), it sounds like a typewriter! I hear the click sound with every key, and when I come to the end of the page, it makes the "ding" sound!

Is this a new feature with the message board! This typewriter sound is driving me crazy! I can't find a button or anything to undo it!

Emilia and Vadim’s free dance is better than Chock and Bates’ and frankly so are most of their elements.

Green and Parsons have no shot here.
Agree. I know there is no way C/B won't win but Emilia and Vadim deserve to be on top, they are that good. Also C/P are that good. That should be our podium for sure. I also don't think the Shibs have any shot. I am still incensed they came back this year. It infuriates me they are getting press which I am sure is bought and paid for. Green and Parsons are seriously done, watching the practice session, they looked like teenagers out there dancing around while the adults skated.

Currently watching the Shibs do RD in practice...they look NOTHING like I remember. I mean really bad. They should not be here. Music sucks, too.

I feel like I'm in a really bad mood...

Thought C/P FD looked great and Anthony in particular, was expressing and executing better. Not sure what to think of Shibs RD- they seemed like they were really trying to listen to feedback and do a ‘club’ look and feel. Lots of dance holds; twizzles and footwork looked ok. Lifts were good. Music didn’t seem to change much over the course of the program.
