Portable wireless for vehicle?

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help me solve a problem. I need to travel via vehicle (hubby will drive) and take some meetings from the car. I will need my laptop to be connected to wireless. Is there a temporary solution that someone can direct me to? I won't need this service often-- and I can't enable my phone as the signal will not be strong enough. TIA

I just did that. I used my phone as a hot spot and connected the computer to that. It works as long as cell phone service is good.

If your cell signal isn't good enough, a portable mi-fi device isn't likely to be good enough either since they work off of cell signals. The best option is probably to figure out places where you have a good enough cell signal and stop there for the duration of the meetings.

Oops. Missed this the first time. Satellite wifi might work but I think it's kind of expensive.

I have satellite radio in my car and I often think they should offer a feature where you can get wifi off it!

Some local libraries have mobile hotspots available for check-out, which may be easier than using your phone. Would still have to worry about signal issues.
