Last night PJ Kwong interviewed Kaitlyn Weaver about this project. Kaitlyn is hosting--it will feature loads of international skaters across multiple generations. She said the format was inspired by Rosie O'Donnell's Broadway benefit livestream of 3/22

On Instagram it's openice.live

I meant to post this in Great Skate Debate  Does anyone know how I can get it moved?

The website has been updated and the array of skaters involved is quite awesome. It also has more details about the format (planned for 3 hours, games, interviews, impromptu performances, fans can participate in live chat).

They also seem to be posting videos daily of participating skaters reminding us to watch on the Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/openice.live/

I'm watching, and Kaitlyn is such a natural. Anyone know if she's planning on getting into broadcasting? She has a good voice for it, interacts well with the guests, is completely natural, and is just genuinely pleasant. Also, the design a costume challenge was hilarious.

And of the different web 'specials' I've seen during this time, it's had the least glitches. So kudos to Jordan (on ice perspective) for that side of things.

Still waiting on her to go back to Andrew to see how he did with her challenge to make a dish out of what he had on hand (beans, mint, and booze).

It’s just so nice to see soooo many familiar faces coming up together during these difficult times!

And also to see all of them sitting at their homes with their loved ones and sharing their personal stories and experiences. It’s quite opposite to what we got used to: to see them skating one the ice with full make up and costumes on.

Kudos to Kaitlyn and Jordan for organizing this
