My twitter has barely any followers, but I just tweeted to NBC and Peacock, as well as the USFS, about what incompetent lawyers they must have if they can't figure out a way to provide the content on demand, and that I'd be using a VPN and watching on the ISU's YT channel if necessary.

I'm assuming those times are eastern. It is way down on the sports page but I found it by searching under "Skate America"

Interesting that the only NBC telecast is the rhythm dance and women’s short. I know other sports are happening this time of year, but I don’t remember the last time NBC didn’t get at least part of the free skates.

Hell, even in the ABC/ESPN days we often didn’t get the short programs for Skate America while all the free skates were on ABC.

I think the times I have are from my time zone (mountain). It seems when I am logged into Peacock it automatically shifts to my time zone. Thanks for the link.

I think the Thursday and Friday practices will be for Pairs and the Saturday and Sunday will be for Dance. The times correspond to the color coded practice/competition schedule.

IIRC, last year, the practice cam times on Peacock did not correspond with when they actually turned on the stream, so I would err on the side of caution and open up the practice cam stream link at the same time the first practice is listed on the event schedule. Never know what we'll see or when we'll see it, especially with the practice cams. Same thing happened during the Olympics. The practice cams were really erratic - they'd appear, then disappear, run only for US skaters, or Yuzu or the Russian women, etc - whatever NBC thought viewers wanted to see.

I just looked - 10/20 says 10:00 am and 10/21 says 11:00 am for practice cams
I've seen this before - the time changes - just check the day of, starting at 8 am for practice cams. Usually the performance time starts are correct. Or close. I hope.

Yup, do the time conversion on your own to your own time zone and check the practice cam streams at that time. Trust none of the times on Peacock. Even last month, during US Classic, they didn't have the times for the competition streams listed correctly the week of the event.

On page 8, notice that all four SPs/RDs will be on Friday, then all four FPs/FD on Saturday. Hence, I’m pretty sure that the item that you’ve highlighted will be changed to Nov 25, with same times.

The next four items will be Nov 26 - the four finals…one right after the other.

From the Wikipedia article on the Olympic Channel: "On July 1, 2022, NBCUniversal announced that Olympic Channel would be shut down on September 30, 2022, with plans to move its programming to other outlets to be determined."

I don't see anything scheduled for this coming week - and the Olympic Channel is no more as a broadcast channel. There is still a lot of content available on the website - https://olympics.com/en/olympic-channel - but not anything for this current season.

This year I have been very careful to plan recording in advance since there probably won't be any repeats.

CNBC, E! and USA Network will be now the channels that will get whatever Olympic Channel used to broadcast

So maybe the re-runs of the Grand Prix events could end up in any of those channels, if somebody finds it please let us know

I am surprised not to see any Skate America replays on Peacock. Is this the norm now? I knew that Peacock had deleted skating from previous seasons but I’m surprised not to see replays from this year. I don’t even see a figure skating hub. I’m hoping that Peacock is just getting organized for the season and that replays will return.

Do not expect there to be any replays. You'll need to get a VPN to watch the full events on the ISU's YT channel.

ETA - not sure if there will be an online source for full event replays of US Nats.

Heads up that all of the Junior and Senior SP and FS icons for Sectionals, as well as the Jr & Sr Pairs & Dance Final icons, are now available in Peacock. You're going to need to search for them, and it's obnoxious, but I did manage to find them all for all three Sectionals and get them added to My Stuff earlier.

You just need to be somewhat specific in your search. Like type in "Men's Short", "Men's Free", "Women's Short", etc. I think I had to type in "Jr Men's" for one of them to appear, but I was able to find them all and add them.
