Let's Talk Movies #36 - 2020 - Yep it is a new decade

So, anyone planning to see Melania?:EVILLE: I heard that one day only six tickets were sold in all of Europe. But she pocketed $28 million or so anyway.

EH……NAH. Apparently, it’s about her preparations for the second inauguration - and that’s it. I actually think if she did a documentary about what the modeling world was like and how she navigated through it, that could be interesting (especially in the 1990s heyday). But this just seems 🥱 to me.

I just watched A Complete Unknown. Sooooo boring. Is the point that you get to know nothing about Bob Dylan except he mumbles?

The Devil Wears Prada 2..............sounds like it has potential.

I would not watch the Melania film if you paid me (well, ok, maybe if you paid me a lot I might).

Finished A Nice Indian Boy. So sweet! Adored it so much. If you ask me, the parents should have been in the conversation for the supporting categories.

Supergirl - Home (Teaser Trailer)

So………Krypto is a puppy in this film? Also, why are his ears that large for his head? 🐶 🤔
It's been a bit since I read the graphic novel the movie is based on (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, highly recommend if anyone likes reading graphic novels it's excellent and the art is gorgeous) but IIRC there is a flashback that covers some of how Kara got to where she is at that point in her life so I would imagine this is indeed a flashback like @Buzz said.

I browsed HBO Max and found a horror film I remember reading about when it came out: "Weapons".

I'm very sensitive to horror, so I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to enjoy it , but I think it was really fun, actually also quite a bit amusing and clever, not too scary, only a bit gory.

It's definitely horror lite in terms of horror movies but I still really liked it

I watched it because your post indicated that it is not too gory. I enjoyed it. The ending is so fun!

Box Office Mojo - U.S. Domestic Box Office: Weekend 7

So……is “Wuthering Heights” actually good? 🤔
It really seems to depend on who you ask. The Rotten Tomatoes aggregate isn't great and Letterboxd has it at a 2.9 now that it's actually out. But I have seen people who liked it on less movie focused sites. I'm not planning on seeing it. The only Wuthering Heights I'm interested in where both the main characters are white is Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier's Worlds 2024 FD.
