I would say for myself d the conclave, A Complete Unknown, not sure yet about the Brutalist .. I’m kinda not sure about about the 1972 Olympics - I was only 8 years old then … I can’t do Holocaust movies and horror movies. I have movie rules for myselfI was looking at Rotten Tomatoes ratings last night for a few movies.
The Conclave 93
A complete unknown 79
The Brutalist 93
All you imagine as light 100
Real Pain 96
The seed of the sacred fig 94
These are the movies I had planned on watching, before I saw what Rotten tomatoes said.
I read rave reviews of The Brutalist and Adrien Brody. Now I am really curious about this movie. It is 3 hours and 35 minutes long. That is a concern. I prefer movies that are less than 2.5 hours long. I love it when they are just 2 hours long. Not sure if this movie has an intermission.
I may watch Anora because of the Oscar buzz, but it will be later.
Definitely want to watch September 5- about the 1972 Munich Olympics terror attack. I had liked Spielberg’s movie ‘Munich’ but this one has a different perspective - from the reporters’ view.
It took me years before I was ready to watch Schindler’s ListI would say for myself d the conclave, A Complete Unknown, not sure yet about the Brutalist .. I’m kinda not sure about about the 1972 Olympics - I was only 8 years old then … I can’t do Holocaust movies and horror movies. I have movie rules for myself. There are other rules for myself but I’ll leave it at that

I watched Conclave last night on Peacock. I'm surprised I enjoyed such a dry seeming movie (the subject matter) so much. All the actors were great - I can totally see the nomination for Ralph Fiennes for best actor. As far as the twists went, I saw the first one coming, but not the second, even though I was fully prepared by reviews here that there would be one.![]()
My friend saw it and loved the twist at the end. Then she said you’ll love it! So I’m committed to renting lol.I watched Conclave last night on Peacock. We definitely all are!So if there are movies based on past events, you don’t want to see them? I have watched movies wherethey events took place before I was born- sometimes hundreds of years
I can understand if you don’t want to watch Holocaust movies but some of them are uplifting inthe end.
I don’t like movies that have gratuitous violence and excessive bloodshed. I still like some war movies.
The movies I really dislike are those with excessive cgi.
We are all different. That makes the world interesting.
Yes definitely more than one twist. I really liked the twists though lol. Def wasn’t expecting the final one. I finished watching it last night. There were more than one Twist? I only saw one twist when I watched the movie. DM me what was the other one your referencing?
Yes Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing. She was 27 at the time Dirty Dancing was filmed. I had to google that lol.I saw A real pain in a theatre today. It was ok. My plan was to see ‘Seed…’ but I was too tired after a near sleepless night. So I opted for A Real pain. It is short and humorous.
The positives were on a personal level. I love Chopin and I have happy memories of my visit to Poland, years earlier.
I thought the story was not strong, though there were some entertaining moments. There were some serious moments which liked. The acting was good.
I saw the name Jennifer Grey. Is she the one from Dirty dancing? If yes, she is unrecognizable. I know she had plastic surgery.
Love the graphic but apart from the top four movies and Mission Impossible there really isn’t anything that interest me much. SAW XI ?!?!Here’s a handy infographic of the movies coming out in 2025.
YAY! Prequels, sequels, remakes, and live action films!![]()
