Well, the reporting in the JGP thread in GSD is that the USFS has told the singles skaters that they will only get a 2nd JGP assignment if they medal. The USFS has submitted placeholder names for both Slovenia (Shinohara) and China (originally Sanchez, updated to Blackwell last week). The expectation is that Slovenia will go to Sanchez and Blackwell has already been, privately, assigned to China (likely to ensure the visa applications are processed in time).Will Jacob go to one of the three remaining JGPs? As per the interview with Ted, he has not been assigned a second JGP. I’m hoping that both he & Blackwell have second assignments.
