ISU Communication no. 2007: Figure Skating International Competitions calendar 2016/17 announced

The Single & Pair Skating, Ice Dance & Synchronized Skating International Competitions calendar 2016/17 is now available. The calendar will be updated shortly on the ISU website.

The first two internationals before the start of the Junior Grand Prix are:
Lake Placid Ice Dance Invitational, July 29 – 30, 2016, Lake Placid, NY (Senior/Junior Dance)
Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy, August 4 – 7, 2016 Manila PHI (Senior/Junior/Novice singles & Senior Pairs)

NEW: 1st Mexican Open International Skating Competition, September 12 – 18, 2016, Mérida, MEX

Japan Open (supposed to be an invitational, FS only) is scheduled for October 1st, 2016, Saitama, JPN.

The Philadelphia Summer Championships are not an ISU Senior B this year--the event reverts to being sanctioned only by US Figure Skating and Skate Canada.
