According to the NY Times Saturday, March 13, the IOC has agreed to buy COVID vaccines from China for 2021 and 2022 Olympians.
New IOC President Thomas Bach made the announcement on Thursday. The vaccine will be provided to any Olympic athlete requiring one. The two-shot vaccination would apply to both Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
The agreement will also provide two vaccines for the general population in an athlete's home country for every vaccine given to an athlete.
