has anyone used Graf Lausanne blades?

I remembered this morning that I have a never-used pair of them sitting in a box somewhere (I got them a few years ago, but then didn't need them). I have it in my mind that I don't really want to use 8 foot rocker blades on new boots, but maybe I should try these out on my old boots that have no blades on them.
