Great programs that were overshadowed

Sarah Hughes - everyone focused on her 2002 win, but IMO her best programs were really her 2003 ones, even though her form and jumps had regressed by then due to injury. They were mature and detailed and would have been quite nice to watch if she had skated them during her peak form.

I agree Marco. Sarah came back post Olympics with quite a mature presentation and makeover. I very much appreciated it.

What was the costume and program she had that was a black cat suit with an open cutout in the back? The program ended with her pressing keys of a piano. I want to say Chicago but that’s not it…

It was a Fosse medley. It ended with the Hot Honey Rag from Chicago.

Do you think I’m thinking of two different programs? Now I remember after you mentioned it. I think that was the black catsuit with a cut out in the back.

Maybe she had another program that year where she ended the choreography of the program where she use both hands to press keys of a piano? Maybe that was a more classical piece then? I don’t think that was the Fosse number!

I do think she was quite more sophisticated that year.

Found it. It is a different program. Look how sophisticated and mature her skating is here. I loved this program!!!!!

Bonus: look how great the long program was that year
