GPdF 2025 PBP - Women's FS: “Chick-a-cheater”

The DAVID WILSON stroke your cheeks from one side to the other choreography strikes back! I knew he was the choreographer 30 seconds into this. :lol:

That said, the opening choreography and the use of her arms is really out of this world stunning. I love her skating.

Shin

Nice opening 2a out of Ina Bauer, and then doing double pops on edge jumps, :( 3f-2t-2r, 3z-3t. Second half much stronger technically, nice use of arms, hope she can put it all together later in the season

Her qualities are obvious, and many, but for this competition the nerves were too much.

123.10 = 1st Place
182.33 = 1st Place

Shin: those opening loop and salchow jumps were crazy, and not in a good way. Amazing she recovered as well as she did.

I wonder how much all the coaching changes have impacted her technique. Not sure if it's nerves or something else that's leading to the mistakes.

I'm not seeing how this costume is Gladiator. It and her face are giving nothing to the tension of the music right now.

Don't understand the program at all. There are so many good versions of Gladiator (this isn't one), the music gets faster and she's crawling around the ice prepping for a Lutz. None of the latter music makes sense for the choreography. No highs or lows ever with her skating. She always looks completely indifferent and has zero tension in what she does.

Big 3z-3t, completely blank-faced, c’mon girl, perform! Popped loop, it’s hard to relax and enjoy her program when she looks so stressed out, nice edges and speed in the step sequence

Pretty solid technically, but a bit flat of a performance.

112.77 = 3rd Place
172.07 = 2nd Place
