Does anyone collect any of the items in the Funko line (ie Pop Vinyl)? I got into collecting them about a year ago and have an insane amount now, and the company just keeps coming up with more and more great sets.

I'm one of the biggest fanatics of Twin Peaks, and that set was one that I got immediately! They are all really good.

So San Diego Comic Con is coming up and Funko is unveiling their exclusives. I really want the Princess Leia one but I know it will be very difficult to get a place in line.

Luckily I read somewhere that as usual, most of these exclusives will be shared with other retailers (Hot Topic, Barnes and Noble, Gamestop, FYE, etc). Although as of late, some of the really hot ticket items have sold out in one minute and/or crashed databases.

I'm not a collector, but I have a Professor Snape that sits on my desk and stares at me menacingly. I had a Hermione, but the ten year old took it to a Battle of the Books tournament last year and lost her.

There's going to be an exclusive Supergirl Funko from the show at New York Comic Con and I am bitter because I live nowhere near New York and we still don't have Supergirl Funko's to buy in stores.

This is a shared exclusive with Barnes and Noble. It’ll be released most likely Wednesday night/early Thursday morning of NYCC and it will sell out quickly. B&N website servers always crash during these big events. This should also be available in stores the next morning, but there’s a possibility they go quickly as well.

I'm in Canada so my only option would be the B&N website. I didn't realise that it was a shared exclusive with B&N though so I may give their website a try just to see if I can acquire it that way.

IIRC, all of the online shared exclusives go up online Thursday morning between midnight and 3AM EST. This happened for SDCC a few months ago and for NYCC last year. I've always missed out on the Barnes & Noble stuff because of the heavy site traffic and repeated crashing. It might be best to set some kind of alert up to know when the website updates with the products. You're going to have maybe 20 minutes max to get them before selling out.
