Assuming that Allison's Plan Lithuania works out, that'll be twelve years between Olympic appearances -- would that be a record in ice dance (or figure skating in general)?

Drobiazko and Vanagas have the record for consecutive Olympic appearances, 1992 through 2006.

Torvill and Dean competed at 1980, 1984, and 1994 Olympics, but they were professionals for most of those 10 years between the latter two events.
