"Canadian Figure Skater. Spitting out random videos for your viewing pleasure."

Roman Sadovsky starting vlogging 4 months ago (November 2017): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWZJ3gGYI_Qd36YeM_sKbZQ

His latest vlog shows him working with David Wilson on his new short program. :)
I watched this vlog and one other and think that Roman MAY be the Canadian man to beat in the next 4 years. I was disappointed to see that he doesn't appear to be skating to upbeat music (at least for his short) which I would really like to see from him. Any maybe, just maybe, he's working on multiple quads!!!

There's another thread in Trash related to one of Roman' s earlier vlogs in which he advocates for quads. He's got a crazy, fun sense of humor, quite different from his on-ice persona.

In Roman' s latest vlog, I was sorry to hear about David's dog's health struggles. But what a beautiful love between them, and what a fighting spirit his dog had. I hope Roman is able to help David make a short film about the dog. :)

Roman's new sp looks like it will be a winner. I love seeing how David worked with Roman on that particular movement quality meant to show a seeking desperation. Roman quipped about not being very desperate. :p

It's very instructive how David kept asking for a particular quality in the arm and hand movement, and in the gaze. Fascinating. I kept thinking how skaters' programs evolve and change over course of a season, sometimes losing the choreographer's original intent. It will be so interesting to see how this program develops. I enjoy Roman's skating and I look forward to seeing the progression of his career. It's cool learning more about his fun personality too.
