Endeavor Air/Delta Airlines plane flips upside down in Toronto

So, there's now footage of the plane landing & subsequent crash.

The rumour I read online that the landing flaps on the wings didn't deploy seems to be correct with that video.

Certainly doesn't seem to be weather related.

One of the passengers did an AMA on Reddit last night. She described feeling like the wind tossed them around. This person hasn't been verified yet, but the descriptions sound similar to the man from the video Karen posted.

It sounds like the passengers were very calm and cooperative with each other, it's a good reminder that most people in general arent terrible most of the time. The people who were willing to unhook themselves and drop to the floor/upside down roof gathered together to help catch the others. This could have been bad if there were more babies or kids in laps, not to mention those with physical disabilities. At least it happened on a runway where the fire trucks were so close.

I hope their adrenaline comedowns weren't too severe.

I was wondering how people weren't injured when they unbuckled their seat belts. Glad people stayed back to help each other.

The man in the video posted is a paramedic. He was travelling to a paramedic conference and was being picked up at the airport by some paramedic friends. He helped some people on the plane and his friends helped people when they got off.
