Diet Gummy Bears?

If that is what that is those reviews are hilarious and so gross!

Ahhhh this is something new and not gross.

Has anyone heard anything about these? Sounds too good to be true?

That's because it is.

Huge known scam. Sometimes they flog it as "Shark Tank", sometimes they associate it with a celebrity (Maggie Beer is popular in Australia). They advertise it to be like $15 or whatever, then they actually take about $400 or more once they get your card details, and of course you never receive the pills. They also often set it up as a recurring subscription so you can end up losing quite a lot of money.

Good rule of thumb: if it sounds too good to be true, it always is. And any weight loss medication that actually works can only be prescribed by a doctor.

It's a very common scam (as far as the product ever having been on Shark Tank), details below

Btw, some companies that were on Shark Tank but didn't get a deal advertise that their product was on Shark Tank. Which is true technically. But misleading. So different scam, but both using the Shark Tank name.

That’s not true. Alli (Orlistat) is available to buy here in pharmacies without prescription. And I think in some other european countries too, not only here.

Alli "works" by giving you the "shits" so I wouldn't tout it as a good weight loss method.
Alli wouldn’t give you the shits if you didn’t consume the fat in the first place. Alli works on the basis that the body doesn’t absorb the fat from the food the person eats. Logically, if lots of fat goes in and isn’t absorbed, it has to come out. On the other hand, if lots of fat doesn’t get in, it wouldn’t be coming out and you don’t get the shits. I find it quite an educational experience for whoever thinks that they can eat like a pig and then they would take a miraculous pill and lose weight - that obviously doesn’t work that way. Nevertheless, Orlistat is a world recognised treatment for obesity and it works. And it is not on prescription.

First, you don't think humiliating an overweight person by giving them horrific, near-impossible to remove orange stains if they consume even a small amount of fat (which is in basically everything, and some of which is actually dietary required) is a bit over the top? There are plenty of stories of people consuming Alli (Orlistat) and consuming very little fat and still ending up with unremovable stains in their toilet and clothes, people who weren't "eating like a pig" as you so scornfully say.

Second, Orlistat is prescription only in Australia.

I don’t have firsthand experience but my sister lost quite a lot of weight with the help of that medication. I am not advocating for humiliating an obese person, but as far as I saw how the medication works, one could avoid the humiliating consequences (orange stains) by eating low fat diet. One has to accept that the person is making his/her/their own choices regarding their food intake, as well as regarding whether they want to take the orlistat or not. If one takes the tablet and then does not eat low fat diet, there are consequences. Tough, but it helps. Why blame the tablets for the choices someone makes?

The internet says that you can get it in Australia from pharmacists, without prescription. Same as here.

People lose a lot of weight on many, many diets that aren't safe. You can lose weight by shooting up heroin or taking Amphetamines or doing what they do on the Biggest Loser (which destroys their metabolism among other things). That doesn't mean you should go around recommending them.

Not to mention, studies show that people who consume fewer calories and increase exercise and take Alli only lose a modest amount over people who just diet and exercise. An extra 5-7 pounds doesn't seem worth it to me considering the side effects.

A while back, I came across something similar that claimed to boost performance, and I was really hesitant. But I decided to give it a shot after doing some digging.I ended up finding some insights on goliathsteroids.com and how they shared experiences from guys who had positive results. It helped me feel more confident about trying new things. After a bit of trial and error, I noticed some real improvements.

Is that a link to the infamous review of the sugar-free Gummy Bears?

tl;dr - don't eat a whole bag yourself ;)
Apparently Haribo changed the ingredients on the sugar free gummy bears because of the reviews. They will live in internet forever though.

I generally trust purchases made through www.nuts.com.

I do, too. I've purchased through Nuts.com and I like a lot of their products.

And regarding sugar free snacks including sugar free chocolates, don't eat too many of them all at once because it will definitely give you diarrhea. I don't eat but maybe two of the sugar free stuff, especially chocolates. You're taking chances if you eat more than that.

If you want something natural to eat, then I suggest grapes. They have natural fiber, but don't eat too many of them because of the natural sugars the grapes contain which is fructose. It could also cause diarrhea if you eat too many at a time.

If you eat just a few, they're a good source of nutrients and also beneficial for immunity and heart health.
