Seven trying to regain some good feelings with a highlights reel of the games, but wow, I have never heard Australian hosts get so angry about a ceremony before. And it's completely deserved, but wow, wow, wow. Who screwed this up so poorly?

Glad it wasn't just the BBC commentators slating the ceremony - not broadcasting the athletes entering is just stupidity

Apparently it was stupider than that, they didn't even really enter at all? At least not in the usual way, they were all ready in their seats before the ceremony even started.

The organisers have really let everyone down.

Glad it wasn't just the BBC commentators slating the ceremony - not broadcasting the athletes entering is just stupidity and then just having all those performers that apparently not all Aussies knew who they were singing was pretty bad!!!

Apparently there wasn't a proper entry for the athletes either, they were already there. Kurt Fearnley rolled in with the flag and had it in front of the crowd for a grand total of about 30sec.

As Jo Griggs (our lady host) said, it's supposed to be about the athletes.

BBC milking the frigging netball for all its worth. Ah well I suppose it will be four years before it's shown on TV again.
