Not a coaching change exactly but Lorenzo Magri moved to Norway so I am wondering if his athlets are going to follow him there or if they are going to stay in Egna (most likely).

It could make sense actually, I just assumed he would move for some reason but will see! I'm curious to see if any of his students might follow him, especially Kurakova

Isn't Russia getting a bit too chummy with Italy? Could that have anything to do with the move?

Maybe it´s possible he is looking for options and visited Stavanger/Norway to check out/trial/discussing a contract. What I found interesting about his visit to Norway was:

1) The club didn´t say anything about his visit, which made it seem a bit secret. Normally having a coach like that visiting a small and unknown club would be something worth sharing. It really took a long time before Lorenzo told where he was, but I already recognized Stavanger in his first story. But this could also be part of his personality, Idk.

2) When Lorenzo finally shared who he had been working with it was the Risa Gomez sister (Mia Caroline and her little sister Ella Celine) and the Joos sisters from Switzerland (Noemi and Sarina), and a Polish/British skater named Marietta Atkins. So the latter came to Norway to train with Lorenzo and he coached a very exclusive group of skaters during his visit. Considering he is in Switzerland now, that is an interesting connection. Also the fact that he left right before the weekend, makes sense because the Risa Gomez sister was going to Oslo to train with the National Team this weekend, but he was still there in the beginning of the week.

3) This doesn´t have to mean anything, but I found it interesting that he posted a video of Mia Carolines 3Lz on his profile after he left Norway, not just a story. Looking closer at his profile, it seems he mostly posts about own students, but of course - it could be a coincidence and that he just wanted to share result of his recent coaching.

4) Another coincidence - Mia was listed with two coaches on her ISU profile this season, Sara Pearl and Nuriya Pirogova. But Nuriya is no longer listed as her coach and it was updated a few days ago. Maybe Nuriyas contract just went out or something, but i´m pretty sure she was with Mia in Japan. The timing is interesting and why would the ISU profile already be updated and a coach removed? I think it´s likely that Mia given her good results this season will try to get hold on more expertise, and having another coach, so it could indicate she is working on getting a new coach.

Maybe I´m reading too much into the visit, but I would not actually be very surprised if it turned out that Lorenzo will be a bit involved in Mias (and her sisters) coaching the next season, and that this is arranged by her parents. Mias choreographer Angelique Abachkina came to Norway before EC and WC to work more on Mias programs and also work with her sister Ella, and stayed at their home. I think they have an own appartement where they let coaches/choreographers stay, and from the view that Lorenzo shared it looked like he stayed there.
Maybe Lorenzo will coach on small contracts, and fly back and forth - between Norway and Switzerland since the Joos-sister was with him in Norway and he is in Switzerland now? I´m not sure if coaching salary is particular good in Norway, but in general - both Norway and Switzerland has high salaries - combined with beautiful nature, I can imagine this is things that could contribute to making contracts with the two countries/skaters, all though it´s not the highest ranked skaters (I think Mia and Sarina really has potential to climb the ranks next season though). From what I could see, it really looked like Lorenzo loved the visit in Norway.

For the leaving part, I don't think they were ever comfortable with Mishina/Galliamov joining their group, and Moskvina is getting older, which might another factor.

Is Moskvina really still considered the "most creative and innovative pairs coach" working today? Her LPs for M/G the past two seasons suck, IMO. The Elvis program was just bad. And what innovations have her teams introduced the past few years ?

I guess it depends on one's taste whether you like the programs or not.
But she always comes up with new and difficult lifts and her programs always stand out IMHO.
