Ugh, I am not a Satie fan. His music seems dumbed down to me. But whoever mentioned Faure, I second that. He is wonderful and rich while being more even-keeled than most really good composers, or when his keel tilts, it is usually in the direction of rapture.

This isn't Classical but just as soothing. I have two different albums by Ed Van Fleet, "Grand Eagle" and "Oceans".

These are the songs from "Grand Eagle" that have been added to YouTube:

Sadly, some of the songs have been removed.

I couldn't find any of the songs from the "Oceans" album at all. It is just as soothing and calm.

Just found this station online, and it's free to listen to.

King FM Seattle Symphony Channel - King FM 98.1

I also found other stations listed - WRTI 91.3 FM Classical, and King FM Opera Channel.

I, too, listen to the Symphony Channel (894 MCSY) with DirecTV at night when I go to sleep. This channel has a more calming effect than the Classical Channel with DirecTV. I keep the volume between low and medium. I'm usually asleep within minutes of listening to it.

Also, I think Bach’s Well Tempered Clavier might be worth a try. The pieces are not always soothing, but perfectly structured and often more brainy than outwardly emotional (the fugues are mathematical in their structure). They might activate a calm mindset (? maybe?). Give it a listen and see what you think...
