eTa: was just on Instagram and Zach posted a picture 3 days ago of what looks to be a practice FD runthrough since Madison is in a different dress than usual...just wanted to say I LOVE the dress! The one she normally wears is exquisite but if she wore this one for the Olympics I'd love it. I'll try to post the picture later, sometimes it doesn't work on my phone.

It is a practice version of the dress so to avoid wear and tear on the performance dress.

I'm disappointed if it's true that H/D don't get to do the team event, but I understand the situation. As all 3 dance teams are good and almost interchangeable, it makes sense for USFSA to rest Chen (if he's even skating at all), and split the ladies as none of them strikes me as the obvious choice for both programs. The Shibs do have stronger overall competitive history and higher scoring SD.

On the other hand, I saw H/D practice a couple of weeks ago and I can say the couple of major changes they made to the FD are for the best ;)

Guys, if you don't follow Maddie and Zach on instagram you are missing big time (especially Zach). They just keep posting and posting in their stories, there is so much content !
 
I hope they skate in the Team Event and help the U.S win the bronze medal that is their goal! And that they win 2 bronze medals by winning another in the individual. I would rather Weaver & Poje, but that is probably unrealistic, and H&D are my next hope.
 
Zach just posted they are going off site to train. If that require actually moving there, I think that's the confirmation they won't do the team event.

Eta never mind, Jackie Wong tweeted that it's outside Gangneung
