Canadian Stars on Ice 2017 Broadcast Date on CBC

I just found the broadcast date of Canadian Stars on Ice 2017. It will be broadcasted on CBC at 8 p.m Jan. 2, 2018 It is a one hour show. It will be the last Canadian Stars on Ice Show that Kurt Browning will appear in.

Just watched this. CBC is really focusing on the upcoming Olympics as Daleman, Osmond, Chan, Dylan and Lubov all got both routines shown. One each from Buttle, Duhamel/Radford, Stojko, Virtue/Moir and Browning, which was the exquisite Tower of Song. No group routines, no interviews or skater intros.

Not sure how CBC is focusing in the Olys when V&M were only shown once (or D&R for that matter). I gotta figure the cbc could not afford the rights to Prince music and any sort of cover is just too dreadful.

I’m pretty sure both V/M and D/R only skated 1 program each on tour last season. I realize they showed an old V/M program, but this explains why only 1 aired for D/R.

* Duhamel & Radford: If I remember correctly, they did just one number at the beginning of the tour, since they were nursing an injury. They added the second one at the end of the tour.

* Virtue & Moir: Guests at some cities. Naturally they had just one number.
