What happened to Stroud? At one point, I thought someone should remind him he is throwing to the light jerseys not the dark ones........
I think the commentators agree, I've heard Chris Collinsworth, Tony Romo, Jason Kelce, the Manning Bros, Tom Brady, Kirk Heibstreit, the coach from Steelers or Colts Tony someone all say that - playing in the cold stadiums in 20 °, 10 ° or lower is brutal. Hands can't grip the ball as well, the ground doesn't give when it's frozen, you sit on the bench between possessions, etc.I have no proof at all but I do think cold weather teams have an advantage at this time of year. Many of KC's play-off games were in bitterly cold temperatures or sometimes in wet weather. I think it was to their advantage over teams that play in milder weather.
I would say Denver is certainly not as hard to acclimate to, but I do see some teams struggling, especially if their game is primarily a run game.I guess it is tough to practice and prep for cold weather playing when you live in a southern climate.
Stroud has regressed since his breakout rookie year. I was willing to put most of the blame on a bad O-Line or lack of weapons the last two years but no more excuses something is wrong with him. Either he isn't putting in the work to get better or the Texans have a big problem on their hands. No one should be that bad two weeks in a row. What happened to Stroud? Yeah, not clearly stated - but my intent. We spent a couple days in Denver each time we went to visit when lived there obviously I'm not playing football but walking around, hiking was tiringDon't forget that Denver's stadium is, literally, a mile above sea level. That can be as difficult an adjustment as the weather, because the air is actually thinner (fatigue happens faster, ball travels through the air differently, etc.). I've heard commentators mention that a few times.
He has a long, positive history with Lamar. Hopefully that eases the adjustment of a new coach.Ravens hire Jesse Minter (Chargers DC) as the new head coach. He was an assistant with the Ravens from 2017-2020.
A snow game might be fun.Hope the storm does not affect the games?
I am cheering.I bet @Theatregirl1122 is cheering
I think Stroud has had some concussions since his rookie year, so thar hasn't helped.Stroud has regressed since his breakout rookie year. How did he know??!!Did anyone else here Brady compare a Seahawks receiver to an ice skater? He was going on about how his "shoulder plane" doesn't deviate.
Basically, he was comparing him to a skater with perfect carriage, no back pumping on crossovers. LOL!
I don’t like Sean Payton and I like Mike Vrabel so I was pleased with that outcome. I’d kind of like to see Sam Darnold have a shot at a ring.My teams weren’t in the playoffs, but every team I’ve rooted for has lost. So who do you want in the Super Bowl? Ill take the other one.
Not big on any of the Championship teams, but I was rooting for Not the Patriots (I do like Vrabel though) and I have been rooting for Sam Darnold so I was expecting the Rams to come through at the end.I don’t like Sean Payton and I like Mike Vrabel so I was pleased with that outcome.
