I was at a show today (POTO actually, yes, I'm serious) so I missed most of the game, got home in time for the last minute. Yay for another win...maybe next week we'll get to .500.
The sports reporters/commentators here are trying to rev up excitement and seem to think the Ravens have a chance at the playoffs. I'm really not expecting anything but I guess you never know....
The sports experts have been saying that about the Ravens even when down 1-5! They make it seem the AFC North's so weak, Balt. should come all the way back to win the division! Surprising enuf, the Steelers w/ Rodgers are holding their own! Even Cincy has new life w/ Flacco! So much for Burrow! He's looking more like a "System QB" w/ what Flacco's been doing w/ the team!

The Chiefs had a bye week. I think it's probable they won't be a wild card. And Hunt is asking for bids to build in Kansas, so FU Arrowhead.
Although the Chargers are not my favorite team they beat Aaron Rogers.

I always liked Arrowhead. I guess he feels he needs to build when interest in the Chiefs is at a premium. But so costly...

I heard Arrowhead was still state of the art in the 90's! It is over 50 yrs. old, but they spent well over $300 M to renovate back in 2010! Is it really necessary? Some stadiums like the one in Minn. was a rat infested mess w/i 20 yrs.! Maybe it makes sense to get a new stadium in KC since they're definitively the best team in the league & have been since Mahomes became the starter!

Joe Burrow is back with the Bengals and practicing again! Finally, something good to say about my team other than the fact that they didn't lose a football game this past weekend. It helps that they were on a Bye but knowing my team, they still could have found a way to lose somehow, LOL

What difference does it make? Flacco was killing it w/ 80 pts. in the Bengals' last 2 losses! What does Burrow bring that helps the defense; or lack thereof?

Right now, the one thing he brought to the team was his presence and some optimism. As good as Flacco has been, the Bengals are not really his team (which is not a diss, just the truth) and all the guys have missed having Joe B. around Paycor Stadium, so just having him there has lifted their spirits. Winners call the shots! KC Chiefs are officially a dynasty w/ Mahomes & Co.! If in a major metrop. they w/b owed a new stadium! MO. is a Red State so taxes are lower! I doubt it'd be a hardship though as KC's on the Int'l MAP now w/ multiple SB appearances & wins in just a few short years!

Good game against Denver but my team came up short. I watched Skate America so I didn't watch Redzone today but the one surprise I see is the Chargers score.

Ya can't win them all! I have to say it has to balance out sometime! KC was winning games like this last season; blocked FG's, forced TO, or last min. TD! It just isn't meant to be this season w/ KC even w/ all their components back! The key is pressuring Mahomes & not allowing him to beat you! Easier said than done, but this season has been "trying" as The Chargers, Jags, & now The Broncos kept Patrick in the pocket & "in check" giving them unexpected wins! Speaking of balancing out, my Chicago Bears are catching all the breaks after their spiral out of contention last season! They're in 1st place in the NFC North! Shocking as GB & J-Lo had commentators' hearts aflutter from early in the season!
