Any recommendations for plush mattress toppers?

I'm not a fan of memory foam as I find it too hot, but I can possibly be persuaded to consider it. I've asked Google for the best plush toppers and read Consumer Reports, etc. So I know what the internet recommends. But what about what FSU recommends? I want something cloud soft - I hate firm mattresses and toppers and the topper I have now (something cheap I got on Amazon) just isn't cutting it.
