Article excerpt:
The Oakland, California native sat front row with fellow attendees Zendaya, Lisa, Chase Infiniti, and Jennifer Connelly for fall 2026.
“I have no idea how fashion shows work,” Liu told W from France the day before the show. She’d touched down in Europe and immediately went to her fitting at Louis Vuitton, selecting the outfit she’d wear to the show—a brown denim-on-denim set with a classic monogrammed Express bag. “I don’t know what the scheduled program is, I’m really excited to just witness it and see the looks—as well as who’s going to be there.”

Today's Tomorow's celebration rally in Oakland will have live streaming, per Mayor Barbara Lee.
Tickets were free, but all have been reserved. Approx. 7000 people are expected.

One of the streaming options is from NBC Bay Area:
Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu will be honored by her hometown with a downtown celebration rally from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Frank Ogawa Plaza outside Oakland City Hall. Join us here to watch a livestream of the event.

Oakland’s Alysa Liu Celebration: From Tickets to Parking, What to Know About Attending [tomorrow, March 12] ...

Eeek and thanks! Sorry that I was confused about the day when I posted about the streaming.

I have corrected my post above.

ETA:
I'm impressed that official BART account made a special video guide with detailed instructions to help fans get to the celebration. And with appropriate music.

Press conference with Alysa, Phillip, Massimo, Mayor Barbara Lee is/was streaming now on City of Oakland's YouTube channel (ending at 12:25 PT).
It's possible to rewind to watch:

BTW, for lovers of libraries/librarians/reading, I think I see Mychal Threets in the audience at presser!

ETA:
Press conference also was here (about 22 minutes long):

oh, maybe the person to the far right in the blue shirt? https://youtu.be/9NEX9-SBEfI?t=667

eta: actually when the camera zoomed in i 'm less sure if that's mychal

City of Oakland streaming had a much better shot of him, and I felt 99% sure it was Mychal (although I would not absolutely stake my life on it). As the moderator was just starting to get the press conference going (before local news outlets began their presser streaming), there was a tight shot of the moderator, and the camera angle showed that she was standing more or less in front of Mychal at that point.
Sorry that I can't give a timestamp because continuous 24/7 streaming of stuff is on City of Oakland's YouTube channel. It did not have isolated streaming of the Alysa presser (unlike local news outlets).
Sorry for going off topic.

I had not known that Alysa attended Oakland School for the Arts. Hope she enjoyed today's celebration!

I had not known that Alysa attend Oakland School for the Arts.
I've read that she attended OSA for a short time in the early days skating at the Oakland ICE Center. Another article I found said she began the California Connections Academy online program in sixth grade (graduated early at 15 before the 2021-22 Olympic season).

Phillip DiGuglielmo spoke with PBS/KQED morning host Brian Watt before Alysa's celebration yesterday (March 12):
Now that that has all happened, what are you hearing from her? She’s become a star known around the world. And I imagine that there’s more joy that comes with that, but also a lot of pressure.
PD: She is worried for these next few months. Being recognized on the street, everywhere she goes. She’ll be able to handle it with time, but it’s going to be a challenge.
She’s very busy, and she’s bringing a lot of attention to figure skating. Alysa has some new lessons to learn — how to balance this kind of attention. I don’t want to say “fame,” but maybe it is fame.
