What the f*ckity f*ck, people. Children. Freaking children. This needs to stop or this country is just going to implode. Why the hell people don't see that, I don't know.

God, those other kids have to live with this for the rest of their lives. So many more injured than those currently in the hospital. It is just unthinkable to me.

Yes, this is insane. No children were killed............at least that is something.

After the shooter rammed his vehicle through a school fence and strode onto the campus armed with a semiautomatic rifle, Mr Johnson said, the shooter “gave it up” upon encountering locked rooms and departed.

This reminds me of the West Nickel Mines Shooting in 2006. That guy was mad because his baby died.........so he went and killed a bunch of other kids.

None of this is logical. It makes no sense.

I always remember the shoot -out at a post office near my home when I was a kid. It is where "going postal" came from. This stuff has been going on forever. It is beyond horrible.

We are a very sick society and getting sicker day by day because those who have the power to do something about it, will deny that there is a problem.

Because the NRA is God and scares all the stupid people that someone, aka Obama and Hilary, are going to take away your killing tools. Oops I'm mean guns.

Anyone who supports the NRA has blood on their hands and are responsible for encouraging senseless violent deaths.

The only thing that changes is the location of these violent, deadly situation. No GOP in Congress wants things to change, NRA gives them too much money and perks.

I heard someone say that they should call the proposed law the 'Murder Control Law' instead of gun control. I doubt that it would make a difference to some of these people but...it might make an impression on one or two. Well...maybe...one.

I dont know about the NRA being God but they are certainly excellent at spreading their messages of fear & hate and you must have as many guns as possible. It makes no sense really but there is money to be made selling guns and accessories so they aren't going to stop unless they are made to stop.

It is terrifying. My boss is an "everyone should carry a concealed weapon & then we'd all be safer" guy. We have had some conversations about it--he TRULY BELIEVES that at some point the government WILL turn on the population and begin systematic extermination. At that point, in his mind, an armed citizenry is all that will stand between "them" and complete annhialation. There is no discussing logic with someone like that. And that's why they think the assault rifles must be available--to keep up with what the military has.

The one thing I said that may have given him pause was this: "I understand that to the NRA it's about freedom. They want complete freedom, for anyone to own any kind of, and as many, guns as they want. But everything in this world comes at a price. And what the NRA has decided is, that all those dead victims of mass shootings are an acceptable price."

Until we can get the politicians to actually do what the majority of people want instead of what the lobbies pay them for, this will never stop. God help us.
