Sauter is an old fashioned skater in the best of ways. Quality elements when completed. The 3Lz2T was right in front of me. I’ll fight anyone who gives it less than a +3. Some of the jumps in the second half looked uncharacteristically tight. Loved the spiral / choreo sequence. Quality quality skater.

Sauter is such a pretty, lyrical skater, I’ll always watch her skate.

But Mark, NEVER call anyone under 40 “at XX years young”. Seriously.

I had the feed on mute, was doing other things, and looked up to see that Kaiser was 3 blobs in to her program. Bad fan.

Not a bad skate for Kaiser after mopping up the ice in warmup. It has been a long hard season and she made it through. Really needs a spin doctor. Negative GoE on the first two spins and just barely avoided it on the third.

Did she change her free at some point or did I just not remember it?

Kaiser looks tired, not surprised she fell on the 3Lutz This music would put me to sleep when I skated to it as well. I really love her dress - even the illusion fabric is not displeasing (Tho a spaghetti strap might have looked nice).

God, I love these “never gonna get a world medal” skaters. They embody “do the best I can” drive.

Well, he's not wrong. 28 is getting up there for a singles competitor but there's just something about the word "elder" that makes one envision nursing homes, walkers, white hair, etc. I don't know why that is but "older" just sounds better.
