It wasn't a fall but it was enough of an error & stumble on the helicopter movement to drop them out of the FD. I'd be sadder about that if that meant we were losing their Cabaret FD but seeing as it's their Moulin Rouge FD we'll miss out on, I'm fine with this result.

Is this the Cabaret FD they're gonna have next season, to continue the obvious pattern? (it feels incredible, but they haven't skated to Cabaret yet!)

Whoops. I was misremembering and thought Cabaret instead of Chicago, lol. I'd have much rather this season they'd done a Cabaret FD than the Moulin Rouge one.

Also, of note, Versluis' back injury is apparently far worse than they've let on - Finnish fed & QuadDoctor are helping treat him here this week, from what I saw online yesterday or the day before.

@Private Citizen was it you that HATED the rolling on the ice in Y/P's Moulin Rouge? Did you do this?

Maybe . TBH I liked them on tv but can’t believe how bad their skating looks in person. I was silently seething that they’d make the free dance over Bekker and Hernandez and just then they had a big error.
